Términos y condiciones generales

When making a reservation, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted our general terms and conditions.

House rules

- Please be considerate of your fellow holidaymakers: treat each other with respect, do not cause noise pollution and keep the communal facilities tidy.

- The campsite is quiet from 23:00 – 08:00.

- Car-free camping. Cars are only allowed at the camping spot upon arrival and departure.

- Visitors must be registered at the reception.

- Le Mas d'Ayen has the right to refuse or remove guests at any time if they violate these rules according to our standards and values.

Arrival / Departure

1. Arrival in both gites is after 17:00. Earlier arrival is unfortunately not possible due to cleaning.

2. Arrival at the campsite is after 15:00. The guests who are on the spot before you must also have the opportunity to pack and leave.   

3. Departure from the camping pitches is noon, and gîtes departure is 10am. 

Reservation

When making a reservation, we ask you to provide the names and ages (at the time of your holiday) of all fellow travellers.

The reservation is final when the deposit of 30% of the total accommodation costs has been received by us; the deposit is due at the time of booking.

The remainder of the accommodation costs must be paid to us no later than 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made in writing by email.

-In case of cancellation earlier than 3 months before the arrival date, the tenant will receive a refund of the 30% deposit.

- In case of cancellation within three months before the arrival date, the 30% deposit will not be refunded.

- In case of cancellation of a rental property within one month of the arrival date, the full payment will not be refunded

-No compensation will be paid in the event of "force majeure" (something that could not have been foreseen or was beyond the control of the landlords).
-In case of early departure, unused nights will not be refunded.

We recommend that you arrange your own cancellation insurance.

Rental conditions for Gîtes
 

 Furniture & Decorations: Furniture, lamps, and decorations must not be moved. For example, moving a bed or lamp from one room to another is not allowed. Please respect the arrangement as it is for the comfort and safety of all guests.
 

Care & Respect: The tenant agrees to occupy the rented property with the utmost care, keeping in mind the peaceful and tranquil nature of the surroundings. Please ensure you respect the space and consider the needs of other guests.
 

Behaviour & Conduct: If the tenant fails to behave as a responsible guest, causes any nuisance, or disrupts the peaceful environment, they may be asked to vacate the premises immediately. In such cases, the rental agreement will be considered terminated by operation of law, and no reimbursement of the rental sum will be provided.

Cleaning

We kindly ask that you leave the gîtes tidy and clean before your departure, which includes clearing rubbish, doing the dishes, cleaning the cooker, microwave/oven, and leaving the fridge empty and clean. Please also ensure the toilet and sink are clean, and place all used bed linens and towels in the laundry hamper.

Deposit
A deposit of €200.00 is required for the gîtes, which can be paid with your final instalment or in cash upon arrival. After your stay, we will inspect the gîte, and if no damage is found, the deposit will be refunded to you within two weeks.

Please note that guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay, including by fellow travellers. If the deposit does not cover the full cost of any damages, we kindly ask that the additional amount be paid.

Liability of the landlord
Your stay and the use of the facilities at Le Mas d'Ayen are at your own risk, and we kindly ask that you take care during your time with us. While we strive to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible, we cannot accept responsibility for any accidents, damage, or inconveniences that may arise on the estate.

If maintenance is needed, we reserve the right to enter the property to carry out the necessary work. We will do our best to minimize any disruptions, especially when it comes to maintaining the swimming pool and grounds.
